Shorten URL

NOTE: This option is available only if you set Bitly access token in the Settings tab.

When checked, the add-on first shorten URLs using Bitly and then encoded the shortened URLs as QR codes.

NOTE: Make sure the values are valid URLs. Otherwise Bitly might throw an error that the value is not a proper URL value.
