This error appears when a row being processed does not contain a value in the configured Document Name Column.
AnyMerge Docs uses values from this column as filenames for generated documents. Since filenames cannot be empty, document generation stops until the missing value is corrected.
The cell causing the problem is automatically highlighted in red.
Locate the cell highlighted in red.
Enter a document name in the highlighted cell.
Make sure every row being processed contains a value in the Document Name Column.
Run the merge again.
This error usually occurs when:
A value in the Document Name Column was accidentally left blank.
New rows were added to the sheet without completing all required fields.
Data was imported into the sheet and some filename values were missing.
Document names are required for every generated document.
Rows with empty document names cannot be processed.
The highlighted cell shows exactly where the missing value is located. Correct the value and run the merge again.
If you're generating documents for many rows, review the entire Document Name Column to ensure there are no other empty values.
