Switch to Active Sheet

AnyMerge Docs allows each Google Sheets™ sheet to maintain its own document generation workflow.

When you click Switch to Active Sheet, the add-on makes the currently selected sheet the source sheet for document generation and attempts to restore the configuration previously saved for that sheet.

The restored configuration may include:

• The selected template

• The output folder

• Merge Mappings

• Output Configuration

This means you can maintain multiple independent setups within the same spreadsheet.

Each sheet can use its own template, mappings, and output settings without affecting the others.

How It Works

1. Select the sheet you want to work with in Google Sheets™.

2. Open the Sheet Configuration screen.

3. Click Switch to Active Sheet.

4. AnyMerge Docs restores the configuration associated with that sheet.

If no configuration has been saved for the selected sheet yet, you can simply create a new setup by selecting a template, configuring Merge Mappings, and reviewing the Output Configuration.

Switching between sheets makes it easy to manage multiple document generation workflows from a single spreadsheet.

Instead of reconfiguring the add-on each time, AnyMerge Docs remembers your settings and restores them automatically when you return to a sheet.

Once configured, you can move between workflows with just a few clicks.
