AnyMerge Docs collects only limited information necessary to operate and improve the service.
The add-on may collect anonymous usage information to help us understand how features are used and to improve the user experience.
This information does not identify individual users or organizations and cannot be used to trace activity back to a specific person.
We collect and store your email address only in the following situations:
Subscription purchases: If you purchase a Day Pass or Monthly Pass through PayPal, we store your email address to send you an activation key and provide subscription-related support.
Error reports: If you choose to send an error report from within the add-on, your email address may be included so that we can investigate the issue and contact you if additional information is required.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Bitly integration is optional.
If you choose to use Bitly link shortening features, you may provide a Bitly Access Token to the add-on.
The Bitly Access Token is stored as part of your personal add-on data and is only accessible to your Google account.
AnyMerge Docs does not share, sell, or use your Bitly Access Token for any purpose other than communicating with the Bitly API on your behalf to shorten links.
You can revoke and remove the stored Bitly Access Token at any time from the add-on settings.
AnyMerge Docs requests only the permissions necessary to generate documents and provide the features described in this policy.
The add-on primarily works with:
the currently active spreadsheet,
templates that you explicitly select,
folders that you explicitly choose, and
documents created by the add-on during document generation.
In certain scenarios, the add-on may also access other files that you explicitly reference as part of the document generation process. For example, when merging images stored in Google Drive™, the add-on may retrieve the images to insert them into generated documents.
AnyMerge Docs does not access or modify unrelated Google Docs™ documents, Google Sheets™ spreadsheets, or other Google Drive™ files that are not required to provide the features you have configured.

AnyMerge Docs uses Google's more restrictive drive.file permission and does not request full access to your Google Drive™.

External requests are performed only as required to provide these features.

Your email address may also be used when you choose to send an error report from within the add-on.
AnyMerge Docs is designed to minimize its impact on your Google Workspace™ data.
The add-on creates new Google Docs™ documents based on the templates you select.
AnyMerge Docs:
Creates new documents in your Google Drive™
Modifies only the documents it creates during the generation process
Converts newly created documents to PDF when requested
AnyMerge Docs does not:
Modify your existing Google Docs™ documents
Delete Google Docs™ documents
Access or change documents that are unrelated to the add-on
The add-on works only with the currently active spreadsheet.
If configured by you, AnyMerge Docs may update the spreadsheet by:
Writing generated document URLs
Writing generated file IDs
Writing timestamps
Highlighting the row currently being processed
Highlighting cells that require your attention, such as missing document names
AnyMerge Docs does not:
Modify other spreadsheets in your Google account
Delete spreadsheet data
Change spreadsheet values unless required by features you have explicitly configured
AnyMerge Docs does not collect or store:
The contents of your Google Sheets™
The contents of your Google Docs™ templates
The contents of the generated documents
Images, links, QR codes, or other data processed during document generation
Document generation is performed using your Google Workspace™ account and authorized permissions.
You decide which templates, folders, and spreadsheets the add-on uses.
AnyMerge Docs only performs actions necessary to generate documents according to your configuration.
Important: AnyMerge Docs generates new documents from your templates. It does not modify or delete your existing Google Docs™ documents.
