This error appears when AnyMerge Docs cannot find any header columns in the first row of the selected source sheet.
The first row of the source sheet is reserved for header columns and is used throughout the add-on to configure Merge Mappings, Output Configuration, and document generation.
Open the source sheet selected in AnyMerge Docs.
Make sure the first row contains header columns.
Enter a name for each column you want to use.
Run the merge again.
For example:
First Name | Last Name | Membership ID | Email
John | Smith | 12345 | john@example.com
Jane | Doe | 67890 | jane@example.com
This error usually occurs when:
The first row is empty.
The sheet contains data but no header columns.
The wrong sheet has been selected as the source sheet.
Always define header columns before entering data into the sheet. If you're working with multiple sheets, verify that the correct source sheet is selected in the Sheet Configuration section.
